Garden maintenance
Mowing, edging, weeding and seasonal tidies on a round that suits you.
Learn moreWe supply and plant trees and hedging on behalf of companies — on their own land or on ours — and take on the screening, boundary and habitat work that comes with a commercial site.
Talk to us about a schemeWorking outside every day for more than thirty years, we have watched what happens to a site when nothing is planted and what happens when something is. Planting is the part of this trade we care most about, and businesses turn out to have the land to do it on.
A scheme usually starts with a walk round: where the boundary is exposed, where the view needs softening, where a bank will not hold, what the planning conditions say. From there we work out what to plant, source it through our own plant supply side — and put it in.
We plant on the client's own land where there is room for it, and on ours where there is not.

We have carried out a number of bat protection planting projects. The planting is designed around what the bats and the consent actually need, not around what looks tidy on a drawing.
Planting put in to offset the effect of development on an existing roost or flight line.
Schemes planted to meet the conditions attached to a consent.
Canopy and cover planted where a route or a roost needs shading.
Dense boundary planting used to soften noise across a site edge.

Planting schemes we have carried out include work for Cotopaxi, Alcedo Care and Ainscough Metals.
Alongside the commercial work we have put planting into community projects locally, including the Wigan Warriors community garden and grounds planting for Shevington Sharks ARLFC.
If you want to see what a scheme looks like once it is in, we can show you round something nearby rather than send you a brochure.
Most of the sites we plant, we also maintain. Hotels, care homes, restaurants, factories and managed property all sit on the same round as our domestic work, on whatever schedule suits the site.
