The grounds are the first thing anyone sees on the way in, and the first thing that shows when they are left. Commercial work is a round like any other — the difference is that the standard has to hold in February as well as in June.

We have been doing it for over thirty years alongside the garden side of the business. The same crew comes back to your site each visit, so nobody has to be shown round twice, and grass, hedges, beds and paving are all handled by one firm instead of four.

What the round covers

Built around the site rather than sold as a package. Most take some mix of:

Grass cutting, strimming and edging through the season
Lawn care — fertilising, weed control, moss treatment, scarification and aeration
Hedge cutting and shrub pruning, timed around nesting season
Beds and borders kept weeded, mulched and planted
Seasonal planting, planters and tubs
Leaf clearance and seasonal clean-ups
Power washing to paths, paving and bin stores
Paving, drive and car park maintenance

The sites we look after

Hotels, restaurants, care homes, factories, offices and managed residential property — anywhere the grounds are somebody’s responsibility and nobody has the time.

Sites differ in what they actually need. Some want the frontage immaculate and the rest kept practical; others want the whole thing held to one standard. We would rather be told which than guess at it.

How a contract gets put together

We come out and walk the site with you first. Nothing is priced off a map, and there is no charge for the visit.

What settles the price is the frequency, the areas included and the standard you want holding. Once that is agreed we set out the year — what happens in which month — so the work is planned rather than rung in job by job.

If the grounds need bringing back before a round makes sense, we can do that first: a clear-out, a cut back and a tidy, then the regular visits start from a sensible place.
